a lot has happened in the month-or-so since i last updated.

swim team's been cool. we're 3-0. very cool.

not a lot else has happened (even though i just said a lot of stuff has, i enjoy constantly contradicting myself.) I went to new york for the fourth of july. it was cool. i little, well, really smelly and kind of grungy but cool none the less. Then i went to the outer banks with my church youth group. I am as red as a lobster and as peely as the fucked up animal that peels.

for the past two days its just been me and my mom. chad- some swim meet at...somewhere and dad-on a trip in a very diffrent...somewhere. I went to church this morning. yay. we almost might have a new minister person.(last one- had an affair and left without telling anyone. very priest-like) Were having vacation bible school this week. i have done absolutely nothing so far and missed all four preperational meetings. oh well.

Even though it sunday, ill start back on thursday, because i feel like it.

Thursday-- Last day of school. It was all sad and teachers kept saying all this deep, "your bound to be successful" stuff. So that was that and then i went to Sarah's party. That was a lot of fun. We went tubbing and stuff. Sat around like hippys, went swimming in a blow up pool, annoyed sarahs brother, and some other stuff. Oh yeah, we also completely destroyed Sarah's room and bathroom. It was great, but she was uber pissed. Jessie, Conally, Lindsey, Sunny, and Angela all went to this one island thing where there was really squishy and smelly mud. We jumped around in it and then lindsey decided to chuck her oar into a stranger's boat. So we asked for it back and put a huge dent in his boat that i dont thing he noticed. Anyway, yeah, so that was all fun.

Friday--I was really tired after thursday, so i just sat around and watched tv. I love summer.

Saturday-- Had time trials for club brittany. It went by really fast, but i got sick towards the end and missed an event, so i dont have a time for breast stroke. Oh well. Then i came home and slept. Then i went to like four grad. parties because all my brothers friends are seniors.

Sunday/Today- Fathers day. Not a lot happened, i went to lunch with the family after church. such fun. came home, and did some more tv watching.

So summer so far has been awesome.

For your reading pleasure i now present, th four phases of leaving kemps landing to help you work through that confusing feeling of...it is yet to have a name.

1.unawareness----at first it doesnt really seem like the end of the year, i mean how can these four years come to an end?

2. shock----im never going to see any of these people again, how will we keep in touch, will we keep in touch? ill miss them if i dont. Its all over.

3. Happiness!----NO MORE MIDDLE SCHOOL! We are all moving on to high school and thats completely awesome.

4. All the tears....----In the last fifteen minutes its just all so sad. SO many memories, so much growing up, and its time to move on and leave some of the memories and very cool people behind.

Those are, the four phases of leaving kemps.

I am really thirsy, i mean im about to die of thirst. But im to lazy to go ALL the way downstairs.

Okay went downstairs and got some water, which isnt the best idea right now, my grandparents are in town, and these would be the grandparents who spend half of every year going around the country in an RV. They're cool, they always have a great story to tell.

My dad hooked up the whole wireless internet in my room. Its awesome. I feel bad though, he worked on it for like a month and i dont even remember saying thanks. Oh well....

Three days left of school. Its so cool, but so sad. I spent the entire morning talking and stuff with Ashley and Denise. Ill mis those two most of all. Even though Denise is going to COx too, we have completely diffrent friends. It really is kinda wierd that we are still friends. We used to have a lot in common, but now times have changed, but were still friends and im glad. As for Ashley, i might never see her again. But we will always have our notebook.

Sarah Burke's party is thursady. I didnt wanna go at all at first, but some not so phsyco people are going so ive decided ill go just for the heck of it. It seems like the last couple of days have just been a big party. Last friday was really cool, i got to hang out with everyone at the park. Now the next few day we arent doing any work (for once) and its gonna be awesome. I cant wait till the year ends, but itll be wierd leaving Kemps.

Everyone so depressed and all "No one cares...none of thses people are gonna matter anymore. Everythings dumb."

Well, im not gonna be like that, or like it anymore. Ive decided to get over all the drama and antics and just take advantage of these next few days.

The dreaded last day of school seems to come closer hourly. I hate to see people sad. But i will be too. I might shed a single manly tear for everyone.

Tomorrow is awards and picnic. Awards dont sound to fun. Im not getting any. So i just get to clap and smile and all will be good. The picnic is gonna be awesome though. I cant wait.

Okay, so now i have to retype this thing. i had it all perfect, but then there was a stupid pop up or something and it changed without saving my most awsome entry.

so, i was gonna make my friends all "friends only" so my extremly snoopy and nosy family didnt read it but ive decided i dont really care they can be all "*gasp* you arent aloud to think those things and you cant talk to half your friends" so i just decided i wont let them control the way i think of do things. yay for me. now for formal details.

Formal was, as i said earlier, the greatest. I danced with jessie some and that was fun but i didnt get to into it because i was really tired. So i danced with Casey and that was the best, this sounds sad and pothetic, but dancing with Casye made my night. And i got to dance with her twice. It was most awesome. I also danced with Sarah during the last dance. It was pretty bad. Denise was gonna ask me to dance though, so i got trapped while avoiding her. I dont think sarah was the lesser of the two situations, but at least i didnt stand there all alone. Danced with Becky and Christina too. theyre both cool.

Now to today. Woke up late so i didnt get to take a shower, no biggie, but it just made it seem like ive been running behind all day and it feels really wierd. So i went to band which was uneventful. I hung out with walt and patrick and those guys so it wasnt all "you compositions are due tomorrow." And then in jazz band we planned out our social gathering for tomorrow. WE'RE MAKIN WAFFLES! It's gonna be so good. Anyone who feels like sneaking out of class and getting some yummy waffles, ill be sure to slip some to you.

Then it was off to science which was hilarious because Casey and Walt got in trouble and had to go stand outside for back talking ms. young. Ive been waiting for that all year.

Spanish was boring we did worksheets. During lunch we watched a cool slideshow of formal. It didnt come close to the expirience of acctually being there. I went to english after that and i had some high quality nap time.

So i came home and watched some tv, ate some tostitos. I was glad that i got to watch some normal vh1 programming. Then i went to swim practice. the only problem-my group doesnt have practice on mondays. my brother is such a genius. so then we called home and that was a waste of time.

Formal was the coolest thing ever. Everyone was all dressed up and all that cool stuff I had fun. Went to matts after party and chilled in the hot tub and the icy cold pool. That was also a lot of fun. Then I came home, watched some SNL and went to bed.
Otherwise, im not to happy right now. Vh1 continues to play that gay metal moments thing over and over and over and its driving me insane. No one commented on my last entry....does no one care anymore? i think not. So yeah. And now my parent think im hiding things from them, like i had a secret formal date(i wish) or something like that. And they hate a certain person that i just happen to like, cant use names because i think my brother reads this every once-in-a-while.He's a snitch.

Havent updated in a while i guess, Casey screwed up my live journal somehow, so i just changed the format of something(dont ask what the heck i did) and now its just all plain and simple.
Yesterday i went to the carnival up at holy family with walt, erin, hannah, chelsea, brianna, and kathrine. Its was cool even though they dont have the spider or the farris wheel this year.
So today was good, formals tomorrow, all is good.
I found out today that my uncle has to go to Iraq, more specifically Baghdad. I dont know why, but i know he's going. Its kinda scarry. My moms gonna go visit him next weekend. I dont know what thats supposed to mean, nor do i want to.
I have to do that stupid english take-home-test. I think its harsh to give that kind of homework on the weekend of formal, but i dont think Mrs. Buffington knows what formal is anyway.
We got yearbooks today, that just means the the end of the year is getting even closer. I cant wait, but i also dont wanna have to leave all my friends.
